About the Staff
Our staff takes pride in what they do. Whether it be teaching merit badges, running program, or singing a song at a campfire, we always seem to be having fun. As any of our past and present staffers can tell you, camp is a place that tends to foster lifelong connections and friendships. You'll gain leadership skills that you can take with you for the rest of your life. We hope to have you on the staff this summer!
The CIT Program
The CIT Program prepares young individuals to be fantastic camp staff members! For the first week of this program, CITs will help in five different departments around camp, with the ability to take merit badges during the afternoons. Most CITs are invited back to come for subsequent weeks. For all weeks beyond the first, CITs act like a staff member, working in one specific department area and learning what it is like to be a Mattatuck staff member. The first week of the program costs $200, and all subsequent weeks are free. All those who will be 14 years of age this summer are encouraged to sign up!
